The Importance of Walking with your Furry Friend

Taking your furry friend on their daily walks is something that every dog owner is sure to prioritize in their day. Golden retrievers are a more mild-tempered and lower-energy breed, but they still require walks regularly to ensure a healthy and enriched life. Walks vary depending on your golden's age and health, but on average, the golden owner should aim for 2 moderate walks a day or 1 long walk a day. Finding friendly dog walking trails and beaches is another great idea to expand your buddy's horizons. Golden retrievers are generally athletic dogs, but make sure to go at your dog's pace. Poor weather? On bad days, I take my girl to dog-friendly places like pet stores, Dicks Sporting Goods, and TJ Maxx. So, make sure to get your walks in with your friends and enjoy your bonding time with them.
