Hi, my name is Jess, and I am the creator of this website. My first ever personal experience with the Golden Retriever breed was back in 2023 when my roommate at school got an English Cream Golden Retriever, named Lilah to train as a service dog. I immediately fell in love with the breed. Four months later, I convinced my parents to get a family Golden Retriever. Stella Blue joined our family in April of 2023, and she is a Field Golden. She is not our first dog, but our first golden. I am highly experienced with different dog breeds. I have been a pet sitter and dog walker since 2018 and have worked with many different breeds. Getting to know the Golden Retriever breed, I realized how easygoing and mild-tempered the breed is. They are also typically a more loving breed of dog. Stella Blue has become my whole world. She is so smart and can pick up on any new command you give her. She is incredibly patient and well-tempered with children and seniors. I wanted to create a page to share stories and experiences with Stella Blue and Lilah, along with share my love for the breed and find others who also love the breed.
