One of the most notable features of the stunning Golden Retriever is their beautiful fur. With these golden locks, owners must make sure they are putting in the proper care for their dog's coats to be as healthy as possible. To start, things off, goldens are one of the breeds with two coats, an undercoat and a topcoat. They are a shedding breed, so make sure to be prepared for all of that golden glitter around. Goldens should be regularly groomed two to three times a week. You should not bathe your Golden too much or use too harsh of shampoos, as it will strip your dogs coat of essential oils. There are also many vitamins out there, like Omegas, to help your Golden have a gorgeous coat.
